April was Birthday month

 Ruby at 3 months

Leah turned 3 and had a pink pig cake!

Smiley girl, even sucks her thumb occasionally.  Maybe she will be like Leah.

Bowen put this hat on and said, "Look mom, I'm Jake!" (My brother on his mission in Brazil)

Bowen turned five! Construction cake and swimming with cousins.

Oh Zion!

We took our first road trip with Ruby.  We went to Zion's National Park.  It was awesome.  Seth and I expected to see dry desert everywhere, but we were pleasantly surprised with all the "vegetation".  We saw so many wild flowers and trees growing right out of the rocks; it was breath-taking.

 Emerald Pools hike

 Weeping Rock hike

 River walk hike
Bowen hiked the whole way!  (5 miles the first day and 2 1/2 the second)

Day 2: More Zions
Overlook hike trail in Zions (just past the mile-long tunnel)

We pulled off the side of the road, had a picnic and explored this dry river bed.

 Day 3: Kolob Canyon

HAPPY EASTER

Our Easter was so nice.  During church I played the organ, sang in the choir and even played a solo piano peace "I Stand All Amazed".  It was so neat to be so involved in the music.

After church we headed up to my parents for a delicious dinner and lots of fun.

I am happy to say that I sewed the girls Easter dresses!  The cute fabric is from rufflefabric.com.  I love being able to say, "the girls" (in plural).

Blessed!

Today was Ruby's blessing day.  She's wearing the dress my mom and I made when Leah was blessed.
My sweet sister Abby: she had her mission call to Vancouver, Canada.
Five people is a REAL family.  It's so fun!
She was a doll all day.

She's got big blue eyes just like he siblings

LOVE this baby girl!

Ruby is almost a month now.  These pictures were taken at 1 week old by my cousin Callie (calliehobbsphotography.com)

At her 2 week appointment Ruby she was 7lb. 14oz. and 21 inches.  So she grew 1 pound and 1 inch. This girl has been our best baby so far, a great sleeper and just a very happy, relaxed baby.  Bowen and Leah really like having her around.   Leah always worries if she cries, and she is so careful with Ruby.  I'm amazed how well the older kids have transitioned.  I've had an easy time transitioning too, but I'm sure it's because I haven't cooked, cleaned or gone anywhere yet.  It's RSV season in Utah and I don't want this little girl to get sick.
